Explore the 2018 theme Our Voices, Our Future with your students to create art or stories that can be entered in the 2018 Schools Reconciliation Challenge (SRC).

We have provided session guides and a range of activities in this website for teachers to explore reconciliation, this year’s theme and inspire the creation of original artworks and writing.

Participating in the SRC aims to give teachers and students a deeper insight into reconciliation and the importance of engaging with the voices and perspectives Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. This year’s theme is also about celebrating the voices of young people and encouraging them to contribute their voices to reconciliation in Australia.

Schools can choose to create art or stories – or both!

These artworks and written pieces can be entered in the 2018 SRC.

Artist and authors of winning entries will receive recognition, an invitation to the SRC Exhibition Launch in Sydney in October and prizes.
