Mum Shirl, also known as Shirly Colleen Smith, was a proud, prominent Indigenous women, born in the Erambie Mission, and she was a proud member of the Wiradjuri tribe. She dedicated her life to making sure absolutely everyone has all the love and care that they need- which is why I did my artwork about her.
Reconciliation means…
Reconciliation to me, is to accept absolutely everyone, from any culture. Everyone in Australia belongs, and we all need to recognise that.
