Surveyors Creek Public School

This artwork is inspired by the storybook Brother Moon by Maree McCarthy Yoelu. The artwork is about the Moon guiding us through life. This artwork relates to reconciliation as we can all learn from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and histories as we live together, under one sky.

Reconciliation means…

Accepting and appreciating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and coming together to celebrate our differences. Everyone should be equal and have the same freedoms in life.
