The artwork is about Caring for Country. The black and white footsteps represent the Aboriginal people and other Australians walking together to look after Country. The river and trees symbolise the need to look after our environment as we need places that keep us healthy. The Aboriginal person represents all the Aboriginal people who have cared for the Country over thousands of years.

Reconciliation means …learning and working and trusting each other.
