Meanings are filtered by how we see the world, the country we live in, our values and beliefs. By not taking into account others people’s words and views, our communication frequently leads to misunderstandings. No matter what language we speak we need to come together as one so that our voices are heard, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices are heard and modern Australia can be a harmonious nation.

Reconciliation means… The restoration of friendly relations. Bringing together broken friendships, broken families and broken nations.
