Oxley Park Public School

Our artwork shows our love and connection for our flora and fauna. The pictures resemble what makes Australia, the dots resemble our connection to our native culture. We hold the world in our hands and we are the future. The pictures represent how we have respect and care for our plants and the land. We have used images of the gardens around our school that we have made to welcome native animals. You may also see our yarn circle and Koori garden that we have used natural resources to make. These gardens and spaces are now part of our school and show our connection and level of Care for our Country.

Reconciliation means …the bringing together of Aboriginal and non Aboriginal people. We do this everyday in our class when we read our Acknowledgment of Country. It is about acknowledging the past and keep our minds open for a better future.
