Wave Hill Walk off

The Wave Hill Walk off was an important turn in History. In 1966 Vincent Lingiari and other Aboriginal workers went on strike. This was due to the horrible working conditions and a desire for Land Rights. In 1975 they were granted land rights by Gough Whitlam.
