My artwork ‘Reflections’ represents the connection between the sky that we walk under every day and us. The way it changes and is still beautiful despite us taking it for granted. It relates to reconciliation as it connects the star signs that Aboriginal people have looked at and used to live. Both night and day sky have a deep meaning and connection to Aboriginal people and we should embrace it more often. It relates to the theme as it shows both skies, in the format of the Aboriginal flag.

Reconciliation means…
The appreciation, relationship and connection between people or things. ‘Under one sky: Yesterday, Today and Forever’ is an example of the strong bond between the sky and the people below it, that will live on forever.
